It’s been confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will in fact launch with micro-transactions, an optional element within the game that will require additional payment on top of the $60 price tag.
Director Francois Pelland had assured fans that the money will only be used to ”save time and accelerate progress”. Syndicate will ironically not include a multiplayer element!
“Rest assured, all of Syndicate’s content is available without paying anything additional and the game has been balanced such that microtransactions are 100% optional.”
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 23. The PC version will follow on November 19.
