During the recent Tokyo Game Show 2015, Ubisoft made an announcement during their press conference that there will be a Jack The Ripper DLC for their yet to be released Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate. The DLC is based on the notorious serial killer called Jack the Ripper, famous for murdering countless numbers of prostitutes circa 19th century London. The identity of Jack the Ripper is still a mystery because the killer was never caught.
It is unclear at the moment if the DLC will allow players to take on the role of Jack the Ripper himself, or play as an assassin tasked with hunting down the elusive killer. Jack the Ripper DLC will be included in the Season Pass, along with “The Last Maharaja” pack with 10 extra missions.
As for the main game itself, Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate is set during the Victorian Era during the Industrial Revolution. The storyline features two protagonists: Jacob and Evie Frye. This will be the first game in the series that allows players to switch back and forth between the two main characters.
Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate is set to release on PS4 and Xbox One on October 23, 2015. The Windows PC version will be released a few weeks later on November 19, 2015.
